Circulatory System Quiz

A circulatory system quiz in eight questions, built around the vessels and the loops of the blood — the routes, and the names of what carries it.

The ground the eight questions cover

Eight questions, all on circulation: the vessels, and the loops the blood travels. Some questions are about kinds of vessel and what each kind is called; others follow the routes themselves, asking which loop a stretch of the journey belongs to and what the named landmarks along it are. The set treats the system as a transport network to be labeled — structure and nomenclature only, with the clinical world left entirely outside the door.

Loops are the connective thread. Vessel names on their own are a list; placed on their loops, they become a diagram you can reason about, and the questions lean on that.

Why the answers hold up

None of the answers here rest on one person’s recall. The site’s dataset — a fixed catalog of 200 keys spanning the questions and their supporting tables — was filled in twice, by two authors working in isolation from each other. The two completed copies were compared value by value and agreed on all 200. That is the standard for every quiz on Cross Section: both authors must have independently written the same answer for a question to be asked, and any entry short of that certainty was cut.

From first question to final score

Each question puts four options in front of you. The page scores your pick instantly and shows the correct answer either way, so wrong turns get corrected on the spot. When the eighth answer is in, a full review of the round follows. Your best score is saved in your browser, no signup required and nothing to download — the quiz lives in the page and resets whenever you want another run.
