Cranial Nerves Quiz
This cranial nerves quiz runs 17 questions across all twelve pairs, asked by number and by name. Every pick gets an instant verdict with the correct answer shown.
What the 17 Questions Ask
Seventeen questions, all twelve pairs of cranial nerves between them. Some questions hand you a number and ask for the nerve that carries it; others hand you a name and ask where it falls in the sequence. Working both directions is deliberate — the numbering and the naming are two separate things to hold in your head, and the quiz checks each on its own terms.
The questions stay with the nomenclature itself, textbook style. Which nerve answers to which number is exactly what the quiz asks, so none of those pairings are printed on this page.
Where the Answers Come From
Every answer traces back to a dataset filled in twice. Two authors, working independently, completed the same fixed set of 200 keys — a question catalog plus structured tables, the full cranial nerve roster among them — without sight of each other’s entries. The finished copies were compared value by value and agreed on all 200. That is the bar for the whole site: a value both authors could not vouch for never becomes a question.
Playing the Quiz
Four options per question. Pick one and the page marks it right or wrong at once, showing the correct answer either way, so a miss still leaves you with the pairing you were missing. After the seventeenth question comes a review of the full run, question by question.
